I can hear what you’re saying now. Is this really a thing of God? Well as I said from the beginning, most anything can be a thing of God. The leader of our country should be at the forefront of our thoughts, prayers, hopes, and yes, even concerns.
The only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.
Edmond Burke
The church has been silent for too long. It’s time for church, which is us, to speak up. It’s because of our silence that evil has grown as much as it has in our world.
God warned us many times to be on the lookout for false prophets and those that would attempt to deceive us.
For there shall arise false christs and false prophets and shall show great signs and wonders, insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
Matthew 24:24
In this day and age, we need to be very careful who we trust, who we listen to, and who we follow.
Is Donald Trump really a person we should be trusting and following?
On the plus side, I am convinced that God had Donald Trump in office to accomplish some very specific things, which he did.
• Donald Trump was at the forefront of bringing visibility back to abortion and starting the process to getting that overturned
• Donald Trump aligned himself with Israel and worked to help them
The things above have divided the nation more than it has ever been. There is the side of those that think abortion rights need to stay, and those that stand against abortion. Many people that support Trump are to turning more and more back to wanting the US to be a country of isolationists.
Trump started this with his wall that he claimed Mexico was going to pay for. He also wanted to close our borders, and keep out Muslims and others of various faiths.
While it’s true that letting people come to the US also brings with it the possibility of drugs, crime, and other issues, do we really want to close our borders and let the rest of the world suffer?
Its these issues that have driven a huge wedge right down the middle of the country. If things continue as they are, we could even be on the brink of Civil War.
Donald Trump’s four years in office were filled with nothing but contention. He fired mosteveryone in his cabinet. Even the ones that replaced those people eventually heard those terrible words “Your Fired!”
His term in office was filled with nothing but turmoil. Since Donald Trump has been out of office, almost everyone that he’s been associated with him has either been convicted and sent to jail or has faced a constant barrage of problems.
It seems that everywhere that Donald Trump goes is filled with nothing but difficulty. Much of what Donald Trump has said, and continues to say, does nothing but bring further division. He has nothing good to say about women or people of color.
Many staunch supporters of Donald Trump say that everything that is brought against him is a witch-hunt. In fact, that’s the main word that Donald Trump uses and has used for the last several years.
Anytime something is said negatively about Donald Trump, his supporters will point to the news and say that it’s fake news. Of course, this begs the question, what is the real news, and where does that come from?
Where does this supposed real news come from? We all must get our news from somewhere, and trust someone. All news is biased. It just depends on who is giving it. Even Jesus himself had a bias towards God. Jesus’s words were true from the perspective of him, God, and those that followed him.
Donald Trump has lied and been deceitful at every turn. How can such a person be trusted?
When Trump lost the election, he accused the system of being corrupt, and said the election was rigged. While in the white house, Donald Trump either caused the January insurrection, or at the very least, turned a blind eye to it.
Trump made a very arrogant statement that he “Saved Christianity”. The Church has only 1 savior, and his name is Jesus.
The truth is that Christianity neither needs Trump, nor wants him.
